As a student of this district, I feel prompted to share my most sincere thoughts on the workings of the public education system introduced by CNUSD. I have come to realize how little the development and interests of students are considered and nurtured through the everyday teachings of our educators. I have experienced doubt in many of my academic endeavors, being taught to base my accomplishment solely on grades and awards, rather than enjoyment and fulfillment of learning a subject that inspires a furthering of a career plan. I've experienced teachers who have lost their love of teaching, and peers who feel no choice but to make me their academic competition. I hope to see a change in the dedication of educators, one that reflects the reasons they began teaching in the first place. I would like to see CNUSD develop a system that brings out skills in students, rather than discouraging them from making mistakes or feel as if they are not worthy of academic success.

Having been with CNUSD for my entire educational career, I would say that I've had a majorly positive experience. My best years have been at the Eastvale STEM Academy, where we have an unlimited amount of resources and an excellent support staff, however, the district can improve on creating a better student culture around all the campuses.

I have been in the Corona Norco Unified School District since I was in kindergarten. I am now a senior and overall it has been great. I always feel accepted wherever I go, everyone is so nice and the teachers are passionate about what they do. The schools that I have attended were very diverse and felt as if I was part of a nice big community. I have made lifelong friends and have succeeded well in both athletics and academics. Overall it is a great district with many wonderful schools.
