Well, there you go... The only one I've ever noticed was the Bicks and I know it had sugar (not the sweet green one but an actual dill relish); I will have to take a closer look as my DH likes relishes on his sandwiches for work lunches and a bit of variety never hurts. Maybe they don't have it in Canada? Liana

Pancakes
I use shredded steamed zucchini in mine
Experiment with different flavors. I love banana, wild berry, and sometimes even chocolate!

I finally figured out what I did wrong when I tried this, never made another recipe from the packets again except for the Broccoli Cheddar Tortilla Bread.
I actually made the packet into pudding first thinking I was following the directions exactly - ended up with hot scrambled egg in hot chocolate pudding, EWWWW! Ate it anyhow as I'm bloody cheap & didn't want to waste the 4 bucks. This makes me laugh! Not even my coach figured out what I did wrong... maybe she was assuming I just used the powder and I was assuming it was made into pudding.

Oh no! I made this on the weekend and they looked nothing like that pic. I used the waffle recipe but cooked like a pancake. I made one big one and it just wouldn't cook inside. I couldn't finish it. I bought a pancake mix from low carb grocery that is unrestricted. They are pretty good!

The trick is to turn down the temp and cook them slower than a normal pancake. I like the texture better if I add the shredded cooked zucchini.
And yuck to a globby mess!
Definitely mix dry mix with the egg I dont add water because the zucchini has moisture, as well
I tried the fudge today...it tasted nothing like fudge.

The IP foods and recipes are going to be approximations of the original. For example, the pumpkin pie bites have no pumpkin in them.
We're trying to find healthier alternatives to keep us on plan.

Thanks for bumping this thread. I was inspired to make the pulled pork. It will cook in the slow cooker overnight. Looking forward to a new and interesting protein tomorrow!
